My Merseyside
« on: March 09, 2010, 12:10:03 pm »
A brief outline of my Merseyside weekend.

I took the wood Elves as ever, army list is in roll call.

Game 1 table 15 was by rankings & I played the "SIB" with his DOC Blood thirster & 30 horrors plus the ussual flamers 7 dogs.
I managed to block most of the magic & distract the bloodv thirster who only took out a unit of dryads & shot & combo charged the rest giving me a 14 - 6 win against DOC leaving me well chuffed.

Game 2, Still on table 15 I played a very nice We opponent (missed his name) who had a similar list with treekin & waywatchers instead of a treeman, result 20 - 0 win to me

Game 3 on table 4 against Liam & his DE a fair list with lvl 4 & lvl 2, I made a big mistake losing my lvl 1 early on leaving me outclassed in magic stakes, Liam made no mistakes & i went down 15 - 5

Game 4 on table 10 was against Tom Halls DE lvl4 & cauldron, a fairly cagey game with me sneaking a minor win by sniping his assassin with pageant of shrikes & the alter assasinated his lvl 4. a win of 11 - 9

Game 5 on table 12 against paul Graves VC ghouls spam, I played poorly trying to edge a win which was unlikely & left myself open going down 13 - 7

Fitz pipped me at the post for best WE by getting a 20 zip in the final round & I came out 32nd out of 109 so not bad for woodies.

Fitz placed 18th so a good day for the asrai!

Bring on South Coast!

Yep well done fella, especially against the DoC!

“Networking” is one of the most disturbing terms in the English language, just behind “floating shelves"
